Welcome

I'm Zelah, and I help senior women lead organisational change with authority and credibility.

If leading change feels harder than it should, it’s not because you’re doing it wrong.

It’s because the moment you step into the spotlight, everything shifts. Scrutiny increases. Tolerance drops. Behaviour that was once accepted is suddenly questioned.

You’re leading high-stakes, high-visibility change: a restructure, a transformation, a merger or acquisition, a new leadership mandate or cost reduction.

On paper, you’re capable, experienced and trusted. Behind the scenes, it feels very different.

You’re working longer hours. Self-care is the first thing to go. You’re absorbing your team’s anxiety, conflict and uncertainty whilst trying to stay calm, decisive and composed.

Then the second-guessing starts.

Being assertive gets labelled as aggression. Being decisive gets labelled as bossy. Your confidence dips. Your authority feels fragile. And you start to wonder if the problem is you.

You stop showing up as the leader you used to be. The leader you really are.

Your team feels the uncertainty. Projects slow. So does progress. And you feel isolated, ashamed for struggling and increasingly alone.

At some point, you start to think, “Maybe I’m just not cut out for this. Maybe I should leave.”

So you plan an exit. Only to find the same dynamics exist elsewhere.

Because this is not a personal failing. It’s the hidden tax that women in senior leadership face: additional scrutiny, systemic bias and confusing expectations that shift the goalposts.

I know this because I’ve been there.

Which means I also know what helps. And it’s not working harder, shrinking, isolating yourself or, in most cases, quitting.

I can help you:

𖦹 Regain confidence and authority without becoming someone they’re not

𖦹 Navigate power, politics and resistance clearly and calmly

𖦹 Set boundaries that protect energy and credibility

𖦹 Build allies so leadership stops feeling lonely

𖦹 Lead change in a way that delivers results and empowers people

The result is stronger presence, clearer decisions and teams that trust your leadership again.

If you’re leading change and struggling, get in touch. You don’t need to do this alone.
