Conflict Coaching
Conflict coaching is a one-to-one process in which a trained coach works with an individual to unpack a difficult relationship or situation, sharpen their thinking about options, develop practical communication strategies, and build confidence to handle the next move—before, during or after a conflict. It is not mediation (there’s no neutral third party present with the other person); it’s an empowering, bespoke coaching process focused on the client’s goals.
How we’ll work
Introductory conversation — a short, confidential call to clarifying the issue, check fit and agree practicalities.
Scoping & goals — we map the facts, your needs and what a good outcome would look like (this may be a conversation you want to have, a boundary to set, or simply greater emotional resilience).
Skill work & rehearsal — we practise how you might speak (phrasing, tone, timing), rehearse responses and explore likely scenarios so you feel prepared rather than reactive.
Strategy & decisions — we assess options (direct conversation, a mediated route, safer escalation to HR, or letting go) and create a step-by-step plan you’re comfortable with.
Follow-up & refinement — a short follow-up to review what happened, learn from it and adjust the approach if needed.
Sessions can be single or multiple depending on complexity. The pace and content are tailored to your needs—some people want a single focused session to prepare for one conversation; others prefer a short series to build longer-term capability.

My approach — clear, humane, strategic
I work in plain language and create a confidential, non-judgemental space where you can be completely candid. My work is practical: we translate insight into concrete phrases, behavioural experiments and small changes that reduce the chance of the same issue repeating. The focus is always on agency—helping you act from choice rather than from reactive emotion. resolution-at-work.co.uk
Typical outcomes
A clearer view of what matters to you and which actions will protect those interests.
Practical scripts and strategies for difficult conversations.
Improved emotional regulation and professional presence in tense moments.
Reduced escalation and more productive working relationships (or a clear, humane pathway out of an unrecoverable dynamic).
